At Little Treasures we have a great team of Advocates and support staff, they have all come from different backgrounds with years of experience. During their time at Little Treasures they have dealt with a wide range of disabilities and incidents.
Whatever the problem they will help in the best way they can to the find the family a solutions. These problems often range from understanding government entitlement forms, to rebuilding trust, that has broken down between individual and services.
Unlike other advocacy services we receive no government funding, this enables us to be completely impartial, and go to any lengths necessary to support our family's, without the fear of losing precious funding.
We do not operate a waiting list policy and make it our aim to accommodate each family's case as they come in. We will be there to support a family all the way through and tailor our services around each family's needs.
Please view a sample of some of the cases that we deal with on our Case Study Page so you can fully understand the wonderful work our Advocate and Support Staff do.
Can Little Treasures Help You?
Little Treasures works with family's that have a child under the age of 18 that suffers from a disability or a terminal illness.
If you're a parent or carer that is having problems gaining access to services that meet you child needs and you feel that you need someone to help and speak on your behalf, then Little Treasures should be able to help.
Referrals can come from a professional body or self referred. Little Treasures will then arrange a visit from our advocacy team where they will come and make an assessment of your situation, and discuss with you your current needs.
In order to make a referral please contact our Senior Welfare Co-ordinator, Lorraine Berkhoff on 01708 753339
